CalOMSDirect is part of the RSSDirect Electronic Claim Processing suite. The California Outcomes Measurement System (CalOMS) plays a key role in California's Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) mission of reducing alcohol and other drug (AOD) problems in California. CalOMS plays this role by providing outcomes measurement in support of treatment programs. Treatment data collection is required from providers licensed for narcotic replacement therapy and providers receiving ADP funding.

CalOMSDirect collects treatment data at the time of admission and discharge for California's Alcohol and Drug Programs. This includes data that will be collected annually for clients in treatment for over twelve months. This system then electronically submits collected treatment data to CalOMS. The CalOMSDirect product has been designed with provider and county security level access.

CalOMS data for January must be submitted by 3/15/2006. If you have filed for an extension, you will have a couple months extra before funding from California ADP could be interrupted. RSS has certified more counties and direct providers than all other commercial vendors combined.
