RSSDirect Remote Equipment Features:

• All hardware is located in a hardened and secure data center. Data center security is based on a combination of posted security guards, security cardkey access levels, visual inspection, video monitoring, and biometrics. Internet connection is via multiple tier 1 carriers. All electric transformation, switchgear, distribution, UPSs', and buck-up generation, including fuel are located underground to ensure continuous operations during a natural/unnatural event. This facility goes beyond HIPAA standards.

• Dell PowerEdge servers are used as application & data servers. Dell's newest rack-optimized server, combines the power of dual processors and Dell's top-of-the-line management tools in a slim 2U chassis. Featuring the latest Intel Xeon processor, hot-swappable hard drives, redundant power supplies and fans, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. It also takes advantage of the Intel Hyper-Threading Architecture.

• Microsoft BizTalk server is used to integrate applications through five key processes: document transport and routing, data transformation, application integration, process automation, and scalability and manageability services.

• Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA was created specifically to provide healthcare organizations with a solution that can be deployed quickly and easily. Built-in schemas that specifically address HIPAA transaction set requirements are used to facilitate import of data in legacy formats and export to ANSI 837 formats.

• Microsoft SQL Server is used for application wide data management. Benchmarked for scalability, speed, and performance, SQL Server 2000 is a fully enterprise-class database product, providing core support for Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Internet queries. Integrated support for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 provides the infrastructure and tools to boost e-commerce business communities.

• Windows Advanced Server is used as the operating system on all servers.
